A radical and innovative scheme aiming at making pothole repairs the most rapid and permanent ever seen in the UK gets underway in Essex.
Making Potholes History (M.P.H) is an innovation in pothole or highway defect repairing and represents a type of scheme which has won the approval of leading motoring organisation, the RAC Foundation.

Months of campaigning culminates this week with the election of the Young Essex Assembly (YEA).
The polls opened on Monday (Dec 1) and close Friday (Dec 5) for all young people between the ages of 11 and 19 who either lives in or is educated in Essex.

This weekend families from across Essex took steps to help Essex County Council deliver their pledge to plant an additional 250,000 trees across the county.
At Hatfield Forest’s seed planting event “Mighty oaks from little acorns”, 150 families planted a seed collected from the forest in a specially marked plant pot.
