The Essex Registration Service is now offering celebratory services for the renewal of marriage vows and naming ceremonies for children.
It is now possible to renew marriage vows in a formal, unique and very personal ceremony. Similarly we are offering dignified civil naming ceremonies to enable you to celebrate the birth of a child, welcome an adoptive child or embrace stepchildren of any age into your family. These ceremonies are bookable through register offices in Essex and are carried out by highly trained celebrants appointed by the Registration Service.
The new ceremonies are available at Register Offices throughout Essex and at venues that have been licensed by the County Council for civil wedding purposes. Full details of the services are contained in this section and leaflets on 'Renewal of Marriage Vows Ceremonies' and 'Civil Naming Ceremonies' are also available. Copies can be obtained from any Register Office in Essex, tourist information centres or by telephoning 0845 603 7632. All guides are also now available in alternative formats i.e. Braille, Large Print, Audio Tape and CD.
