Working together to protect the Vulnerable
Essex County Council is a Registered and Umbrella Body with the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). We have been registered with the CRB since their inauguration in March 2002 and provide a regulated service to enable both internal and external customers to make informed, safeguarding recruitment decisions.
The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) acts as a "one-stop-shop" for organisations checking police records and, in relevant cases, information held by the Department of Health (DH) and the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF).
Our business is built on reputation and we offer the highest quality service delivered by our dedicated, friendly and knowledgeable team.
In today's world an effective recruitment checking process is becoming more important and the CRB Disclosure service enables employers and organisations to make more thorough recruitment checks, particularly for positions that involve regular contact with children and vulnerable adults.
