Welcome to telecare! We want to support people to live independently at home, as well as helping their carers to enjoy their own lives and independence. So, on these pages, you'll be able to find out about telecare and how it could help you, a friend or a relative.

Telecare helps people who are usually, but not always, elderly or vulnerable to be independent by enabling them to call for help or assistance when they need it.

There are many different types of telecare sensors and alarms, ranging from those which can raise an alarm in case of a fall, monitor medication usage, or equipment which can help deter bogus callers or even monitor medical conditions.
