Essex Police, and Essex County Council as course providers, are no longer members of The National Speed Awareness Scheme. Speed Awareness courses continue to be offered as an alternative to prosecution by Essex Police. However, drivers who are offered the course by Essex Police will have to attend a course in Essex. We are no longer able to refer to or accept referrals from other areas.
