Recycle at school guide
The Waste and Resources Action Programme has developed an online resource for primary and secondary schools. The site aims to support school staff in setting up and maintaining effective recycling schemes by providing information, advice and resources. The site offers lesson plans, downloadable stickers for recycling bins/containers, posters for promoting recycling schemes and a searchable database of learning resources. 'What a Waste' - FREE Waste Education film for Essex primary schools
The Essex County Council Waste Education Team has produced a Waste Education film for primary aged school pupils to raise awareness of waste issues and promote the 3Rs - reduce, reuse and recycle. The Essex-based film has been designed for use in the classroom and is accompanied by comprehensive Teachers' Notes. The film is available to Essex infant, junior and primary schools free of charge.
