Two advertising companies, Adshel and JC Decaux are responsible for maintaining their own shelters within Essex. Both shelter companies can be identified by the colour of the seating used and have location codes displayed on the canopy.
Adshel shelters have Red or Yellow seating and one eight digit code number (in two blocks of four) displayed on the top left of the canopy. Whereas JC Decaux use Black or Silver seating and have a code number in one or two blocks of four digits displayed to the top right of the shelter.
Please report faults directly to either Adshel or JC Decaux and not Essex County Council. Adshel fault reporting number is 0800 731 3699 and JC Decaux fault number is 0207 706 8713 please use the code numbers to identify the shelters location.
