New Interactive Essex Bus and Train Map!

You are probably familiar with the Essex Bus and Train Map and Essex Town Maps which can be accessed via this website and may have your own paper copy of the Essex Bus and Train Map.

Essex County Council are constantly seeking to improve access to public transport information and as a result has developed an Interactive Essex Bus and Train Map. 

The new interactive map enables you to search for bus service information for all services operating within the administrative boundaries of Essex and Southend. You can search by:

• location
• service number
• or by clicking on the service number on the map

When you choose a specific service number the route is highlighted on the map so you can easily see if it serves the beginning or end of your journey. The map also provides a link to the current timetables on the traveline website meaning you can find all the information you need in one place. The paper version of the Bus and Train Map will still continue to be produced and is updated once a year (May). However, the interactive map will be updated regularly to ensure that the most recent information is available to you.
