Essex Road Passenger Transport Strategy 2006 - 2011
The Essex Road Passenger Transport Strategy (RPTS) is the County Council’s strategy to improve bus, taxi, statutory and community transport services in Essex between 2006 and 2011. It is a statutory part of the Local Transport Plan.

Over the life of the 2006-2011 Local Transport Plan, Essex County Council will work with its stakeholders to develop a long-term strategic rail plan for the County. This will deliver the rail passenger and freight services and facilities needed to support the growth, prosperity and preservation of Essex for future generations.
