Supporting the Council in achieving it's ambition and delivering it's pledges means that Procurement Services need to form and manage supply markets that will not only innovate to further improve citizens' experience of the council but also engage in continuous improvement to provide consistent and reliable services as well as squeeze out unnecessary costs to maximise value for money.
Procurement Services have introduced new methods such as Category Management and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and new tools such as the Supplier Portal. More information on these methods and tools can be found on the links to the left of this page.
