We work with local schools and colleges to run a countywide alternative education scheme for pupils in year 11 who for a variety of reasons are disaffected from main stream education such as those excluded or at high risk of exclusion.

The scheme is a social education programme and includes a range of activities such as art, music, outdoor education and sport. We also look at issues with those involved around behaviour, anger management and self-esteem. Formal education including literacy and numeracy is provided by local colleges and 2 days work experience each week is provided through Trident.
