The CLS Project is committed to promoting access to CLS legal advice and information for the most vulnerable people in Essex. We encourage front line staff to signpost their service users to the available CLS help, where appropriate.

The CLS project promotes access to CLS help in the following ways

• "problem noticing". The knowledge and skills to appreciate when someone you work with has a problem which would benefit from CLS help. The CLS deliver information, advice and specialist help in 14 categories of law.
• knowing which level of CLS help people may require. The CLS deliver their services at three distinct levels of complexity
• How to find a suitable provider and sucesfully signpost your service user.

The menus on the left hand side of the page offer further information about the areas of law covered by the CLS and the level of complexity delivered within the three levels of help.
